Hello, everyone! My name is Amanda. Today, I want to show you how to make a simple and tasty dish—fried rice! Have you ever trie d turning leftovers into something delicious? Fried rice is perfect for that. It’s fast to cook and super easy. By the end of this presentation, you’ll know how to make yummy fried rice that your family will love. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • Cooked rice (preferably from yesterday)
  • Peas and chopped carrots
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • Salt, pepper, and oyster sauce

Procedure:

  1. First, heat up a pan and add a little oil. Once it’s hot, toss in the onions, peas, and carrots, and cook them until they’re soft.
  2. Second, push the veggies to one side of the pan, crack an egg on the other side, and scramble it until it’s cooked.
  3. Third, mix the eggs and veggies together, then add your rice. Stir everything really well!
  4. Fourth, season your fried rice with salt, pepper, and oyster sauce—this is what makes it super tasty.
  5. Finally, stir it all again until it’s hot and ready to serve. Oh, and here’s a quick tip: don’t use fresh rice because it’s too soft. Day-old rice works best!

Want to make it special? Add shrimp, chicken, or sausage. Like it spicy? Add chili or hot sauce. Vegetarian? You can use tofu!

Fried rice is yummy and healthy, especially if you use fresh veggies, and good protein. You can even add a fried egg on top, or serve with cucumber slices. Fried rice is good for lunch, dinner, even breakfast!
